Shelley and Alex

I first met Shelley and Alex several years ago, when they taught my oldest son Collin in Sunday School. He would always come home raving about how cool they were! So, I was super excited when Shelley asked me to take some headshots of her and then some fun couple shots, with Alex, as well. I knew it was going to be a great morning hanging out with some awesome people and Collin was just as thrilled that I'd be taking pictures of his "buddies."

Here are some of my favorite images of Shelley! She is so photogenic and has a smile that radiates joy!

Then it was time for some couple moments. There were so many incredible ones, I had a very hard time picking what to share with you here! I'm thinking they could totally be models!

This is one of my favorites of the day:

The next two are some more of my absolute favorites!!

What a fabulous time we had together today... chatting, laughing and getting to know one another better! I can see why Collin thinks Shelley and Alex rock!

Thank you guys for braving the unusually chilly weather so early this morning. I sure hope you enjoy having these moments captured forever, just as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Oh, and don't forget to leave your comments here on the blog!

BIG SISTER : ABBIE

You may recall a few months ago, I took Allie's pictures for The Dream Calendar and mentioned that I was going to have to take some time to spend with her older sister Abbie. Late, yesterday afternoon we met up for a fun, but chilly session. Abbie was gorgeous with the vibrant pink and purple tutu, although at times the wind made it "attack" her! Here are a few of my favorite images from our time together. Honestly, they are all so amazing, it was hard to pick just a handful! Seriously, this girl (and her sister) could be a model! Thank you Abbie for such a fun time. It's always such a joy to be around you and your sweet family.

Enjoy and as always, don't forget to leave a comment!

WEE World: Candid Captures [DAY 3]: Just One More!

When I saw these pictures of cute little "E," I knew I just had to share! I'm so thankful his mom agreed! He has the most stunning eyes you have ever seen and was so much fun to chase around the playground. When he peered out from behind that hood, my heart melted! He is such a handsome little man!

WEE World: Candid Captures [DAY 3]

When I woke up this morning and noticed how chilly it was outside, I was thrilled! I knew that cold weather was going to mean one thing at WEE World: lots of cute kids bundled up! I have actually come to adore images of little ones with hats on, so I was hoping that at least a few of my "models" would be sporting something on their heads! Not to disappoint, sweet little Grace pranced out in this darling one and I knew it was going to be a great day! How adorable is she, with her big eyes, sweet smile and incredible expressions?

Then I spotted this handsome little man, Lex, who was celebrating his birthday with yummy donuts today. Such a big boy and so photogenic too! See how cute hats can be?!!

Finally, I had to share this sweet little boy too, even if he isn't sporting a hat! He has such a great personality and was quite the "poser," looking for places all 3 days to shine in front of the camera. I especially love the last one in the collage... it makes me wonder how many times his mom and dad have seen this expression?! Thanks Hunter for these awesome pictures! I know you're family will enjoy them all!

I'll probably be posting a few more kiddos, but until then, I simply want to say thank you to the teachers at WEE World for being so flexible with their playground time, to the incredibly fun children who I've spent the week with, and of course, to Mary and Carol who provided me with this awesome opportunity to capture a precious moment in childhood that so often gets forgotten!

I'm already looking forward to next year!

WEE World: Candid Captures [DAY 2]

I spent my morning at WEE World again and had a blast! The children are just too adorable and really enjoy having the camera on the playground with them! So many grab my hand and ask me to take their pictures, "here and here." I think it's just precious. Here are a few more images that I wanted to share. The first set is a sibling duo that you may recognize! They are becomming regulars to this blog. Sage was in The Dream Calendar (which is still on sale) and her brother Asher made his appearance during their family session. Although the pictures for WEE World's Family Fun Night are always in black and white, I couldn't resist sharing these in color! The kids just seem to sparkle in them!!

Several of the mother's of these children work at the Preschool. So, today we took a few moments to capture them with their little angels. I love the sweetness that seems to just drip off of these pictures!

Tomorrow I'll be back at WEE World to capture some more priceless moments. Which means...be looking forward to another blog post soon!!

WEE World: Candid Captures [DAY 1]

This morning I had the awesome privilege of joining a playground full of incredibly cute children at FBCTT's WEE World. It's one of my favorite projects to work on, as I get to spend time laughing and playing with these little ones and capturing their sweet personalities. The black and white images are completely revealed to their loved ones during a Family Fun Night, but there were so many precious ones, I simply couldn't resist posting a few! Thanks to the mom's who've agreed to let me share these sneak peek's with each of you!!
