Fairy Princess Model

Fairy Princess Clothing provided the beautiful clothing for the girls to wear in The Dream Calendar. Each one of them truly felt like royalty! In return, I'll be taking some images for Katrina's awesome website, as she introduces new clothing lines to each of you. The first round of outfits came just in time for Christmas and since time was of the essence, Katrina provided the clothing to be modeled in the perfect size for my little girl. So, I simply couldn't resist sharing some of them with you! And.... if you're looking for the perfect adorable little something for a princess you know, please visit her site! You'll see many precious products and now, you'll even see my little queen too!

I simply love this dress! How gorgeous!

Can you believe she did this little pose all on her own!

The "G" Family: Christmas Mini Session

Sunday afternoon, I had the honor of meeting up with the "G" family for a Christmas mini session. Justin and Julie have 3 adorable girls, one you may remember from The Dream Calendar Blog, as she is the beautiful model for the month of February. Kaitlyn and her sisters, Amelia and Emma were darling in their Christmas dresses and were truly quite angelic during our time together.

Here's a little sneak peek of the "G" family!

Enjoy and as always, post your comments on the blog!!

How cute is the bobbling baby! She worked so hard to sit up like her big sisters!

I love this picture of the sweet sisters!

There's just something about a Daddy and his girl!

Thank you Justin and Julie for trusting me with your children and your Christmas pictures this year! I sure hope you enjoy these images as much as I did spending the afternoon with your awesome family!

They're In!

If your one of the families anxiously awaiting the arrival of your Christmas Cards, I have some good news for you! They just came in! Here's the proof:

For those of you who are a little more last minute, there's still a small window of time! So, don't hesitate to call, schedule a full or mini session and get ready to spread some joy around this Christmas!!

The "K" Family: Take 2

You may remember that I posted some sweet images of this family not too long ago. However, our session ended a little early, due to the freezing cold weather and a cute little baby boy who was just plain miserable in it! So, this weekend we got together to finish our session. We met at a different location and had a great time exploring! This time, visiting grandparents came along for the journey and it made it even more fun!

Enjoy this quick look into our Family Session: Take 2!! And... as always, don't forget to leave a comment when you're done!

I love Brady's face in this one! It was too cute not to share!

A little walk with Dad.

Can you even believe how beautiful the leaves were? It's hard to imagine that these really are "Florida pictures!!"

We had been trying so hard to get Brady to smile and we weren't having much luck! So... grandpa climbed over the railing to get his attention and hopefully to provoke a few of those adorable grins. This picture is now one of my favorites!

How cute are these three brothers?

I always love feet!

I also love it when families interact and you see the love and affection they have for one another!

I think this one of Kyle and his daddy playing on the dock is priceless!

Just before wrapping up our session, we thought it might be nice to get a quick picture of the grandsons with their grandparents. It turned out to be a little tricky, since the playground was now within total view... but there was a fabulous idea (bribe!) from their wise grandfather... a dollar for those who cooperated!

Indeed, he is a man of his word!

Thanks again to the "K" family and their handsome boys for spending a little more time with me! How fun it was to have the opportunity to laugh and capture more images with such an awesome bunch!!

Dream Calendar Update!

The Dream Calendar has been in the news lately.

This week it's on the cover of The Temple Terrace Beacon and author Karen Hossink is running a promotion on her blog to give away 2 Dream Calendars. Stop by The Dream Calendar Blog and read all about it!

I am also partnering with Clouds of Hope to hold a special event to debut the calendar to the community. Many of the models will be present and we'll be celebrating and selling the calendars as well! Please spread the word about December 6th! Below is your "invitation!"

One Family and Their New Journey

I'm not even sure where to begin this post. The sweet mom of this family has been an amazing friend of mine for many, many years. We grew up together and eventually attended Florida State University where we were roomies, until she married her incredible husband. Many miles have separated us since then, but we've managed to keep our friendship in tact and to pick up where we left off. I've been there for the birth of each of these adorable children and I've been amazed to watch them grow up so quickly. It seems like only moments ago, I was loading up on a plane from New Orleans, wondering if I would make it before the first little boy arrived! Now, just look at him!

It's not surprising then, knowing our history, that I was so excited to get together for a family session with my dear friends. However, the story behind these images is even more meaningful and touching. In fact, you might want to stop now and go get a box of tissues!!

This sweet couple has spent many an evening swinging in their front yard and it is here they felt the Lord calling them to expand their family through adoption, "on a swing and a prayer," as they would say. For their profile, they needed some family portraits and I immediately knew we had to include the place where this journey began.

Notice the symbolism of the blanket, which will one day soon wrap up their precious new baby! Are the tears falling yet?!

How blessed a new baby will be to have these two as their mommy and daddy... and of course, to have this entire family ready to love on them!

I LOVE the next collection of images! The first one in the series might be one of my favorites! I can't help but be moved by the tender expressions on their faces as they look towards the day when a new baby will sit on the swing with them. The light shining brightly down seems profound in this image, as though the Creator of all is radiantly beaming at the hearts of His children to welcome another into their arms. I also love the single blanket, waiting patiently to swaddle the tiny miracle that this family will one day call their very own.

After a little time at their house, we moved on to celebrate the meaning of family by having fun and enjoy the company of one another.

I can't get over the pose that so spontaneously occurred here! Check out the sweetness of a little girl cuddled up in her Daddy's lap!

The children love their daddy so and they were begging for a picture of them riding on his back! This is just for Mr. J and Miss K!

The kids had been so good that they needed to exert a little energy mid session. It actually made for a very adorable image!

After releasing some energy a little time in the grass was just perfect! These pictures make me smile so much! You can tell so much about their personalities as you look at their priceless expressions!

Knowing that many of these images would be used for the adoption process, I had an idea for the entire family to participate in. We wrote out Psalms 139:14 on the sidewalk and I asked each family member to draw something that represented their new addition. It was such a fun experience to watch them interact with one another and to get so excited about their new little baby brother or sister!

To end our time together, we headed over to the playground for a few last minute pictures and to reward the three sweet ones for being so awesome! Here are a few of my favorite images from "playtime!"

The beautiful Mommy and her girls.

Thank you to this sweet family for allowing me to be a part of this grand adventure! I know of no better family for a new baby to join, where he or she will be loved beyond measure. What a blessing you will be to that little one, just as you have been to me so many times throughout my life!

A Very Little Sneak Peek

This afternoon I met up with one of my favorite families and although I've got lots of sessions to edit and post before theirs, I couldn't wait to put up a little sneak peek for their mom and dad!

Don't their eyes just make you melt?! What gorgeous kids!

Enjoy... there will be more to come soon!

The "K" Family

I was so excited when the "K" family scheduled a session! They have the cutest little boys and we've enjoyed getting to know Jeff and Kathryn in our Sunday School class. We spent a little time together this morning, in what turned out to be a very frigid day!  Who knew in Florida we could get chilly air like that!?

Dean and Kyle were quite the champs, eager for their yummy Happy Meals and willing to try whatever I asked, but poor Brady was truly freezing! When his little nose started to turn shades of pink, we knew it was time to let him "thaw" out and meet up again to finish our session.

Despite the quick moments we had, there are some pretty adorable results to share!!

Sure hope you enjoy them and of course, be on the look out for another post when we get together again!

I love the older boy's affection in this one! Kyle looking up to his big brother... it doesn't get much cuter than that!

I think this one is pretty precious too! This was clearly before Brady was freezing!!

I love how Kyle is looking back in this one! I think maybe he liked the camera after all!

As a mom, who is about to have 3 little boys in her house, this picture just spoke to my heart! I love how they're all holding on to one another and how Dean so gently placed his hand on Brady's head! What great big brothers this little guy has!

I love when babies explore the world around them!

Probably one of my favorite images of the day! I asked the boys to stand by this old shed and when I glanced up realized they had grasped hands. I love it!!

Couldn't end without at least one of the sweet parents!

Thanks "K" family for braving the cold and spending your morning with me. It was an honor to catch a glimpse of life with 3 little boys!! (Exactly what will be running around my house in the not so distant future... with their sister of course!)

Don't forget to post your comments!

The "J" Family : Christmas Mini Session

I first met Kelsey during a MOPS meeting and thought she was just so super sweet! At the time she was expecting her third child, Gabriel, who would be loved and admired by her older children, Sage and Asher. I always thought they would be such a fun and beautiful family to photograph, so I was thrilled when she scheduled a Christmas Mini-Session!

The "J" family was full of energy, laughter, personality and did I mention energy!? I'm guessing Asher is going to be on the track team because he never tired of running. I was exhausted just watching him! Oh, to be a child again!!

We had a fabulous time, even though there was a rare chill in the air. The kiddos did a marvelous job being themselves and allowing me to catch a glimpse of life through their eyes.

Kelsey and Dean, I hope you enjoy these images just as much as I did spending time with your very precious family today!

I LOVE Asher's expression in this one! It captures the essence of childhood and makes me smile every time I see it!

Another one of my favorites from the day...Gabriel with his mommy. It can't get much sweeter than this!

Well, maybe it can! This is pretty sweet too! Mommy and Daddy head over heels for their little man!

The expressions in these pictures are priceless! A daddy and his girl and a mommy with her boys!

Everyone admiring the little one!

This may be my very favorite image from the entire day! Something about it just speaks to my heart!

Gabriel has just learned to roll over, so once he was down on the ground, he was ready to go! I think it made for one adorable picture!

Thanks "J" family for allowing me to spend some time capturing the love and enthusiasm for one another that you so clearly display! It was an honor!

P.S. Don't forget to start leaving those comments!

One Sweet Family!

This morning began a whirlwind of a day! It wasn't long after arriving at church that my sweet hubby and I found ourselves in a labor and delivery room for some unexpected complications in my pregnancy. Praise the Lord, the issue was minor and a couple of hours later I was feeling tons better!

Later in the afternoon, I had the awesome pleasure of spending some time with the amazing family you are about to "meet!" Mike, Jill and Kate joined me for a fun family session on an absolutely gorgeous day! My mom came along too, just to make sure I was ok, after our early morning scare. She was such a help and kept Kate all bundled up and warm between shots!

I love, love families like this... ones who are up for an adventure, full of joy and truly passionate about one another. You could literally feel the love between them today. I so enjoyed watching the way Mike and Jill interacted with one another and quite simply showed such adoration for their precious little girl! It was equally as fun to see the priceless expressions that Kate made and to witness her charming personality as the day progressed! This family made my job so very easy!!

It was quite an honor to meet them and to capture some memories that I hope they will cherish for many, many years to come!

Thank you Viviana for connecting me with your sweet friends, and "F" family, I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek of our time together! Thank you for allowing me to catch a glimpse of your lives and to chronicle it for years to come!

Enjoy everyone and don't forget to leave a comment! (If you try to post and the box appears behind the slideshow, simply scroll down, it will move and become accessible for typing!) Thanks!

The Calendars are Here!

Late yesterday afternoon, I received quite a surprise! Despite the calendars anticipated arrival date of Monday, the Fed Ex truck pulled into my yard with 11 boxes of precious cargo!! When the driver saw me cheering at my door, he yelled out “Boy, I’ve got a lot of stuff for you!” Indeed he did! He even took a moment to stop and snap a picture, noting it was the first time he’d ever felt famous delivering anything before!

Yes!!! The Dream Calendars have arrived, and they are beautiful! I could hardly contain the tears that were welling up in my eyes as I scanned page after page of each amazing child and their incredible stories, now waiting to be shared!
